Boox announces 3 new models

Not seeing anything on specs and the video talks mostly about software updates. I'm sure we'll see more by Oct 27th when they are available for pre-order.

Looks good. I like the part about 4 GB & 64 GB.

It's nice that there is a company not going for the bottom-feeding of <$100 devices.

Actually there are 4 devices and I love the form factor of Boox Leaf - 7 inch 170g

Nate published a good blog post about these models today. According to his information, Onyx is not just using Android 11 on these devices, they're updating the firmware designed by Onyx to version 3.2. That version is supposed to enable these devices to run Android notetaking apps like Evernote and OneNote better.

I'll definitely be eagerly waiting the reviews and impressions from early adopters of the Air2. If it handles OneNote well I'll probably get one instead of the Kobo Sage.

Actually there are 5 devices this and the most interesting Note X (+512 GB SD) they only sell in China

Maybe the monitor functionality was a experiment to have a complete device like onyx boox mira

It seems like they once again have made the battery smaller. It's already too weak on my Nova 3..

I'll wait until they have a model with better contrast available.

I don't care about note functionality at all.

EDIT: Oh, and I want physical buttons.
