Hello,
I've got a bricked N514 (I replaced screen then white screen after...). If I try a hard reset, "restoring ..." is displayed, but nothing happens.
I'll try the Aura H2O img on external card.
Can you send me img please ?

There is no image for the Libra H2O. It has fixed storage. There is no easy way to generate an image, and, if there was one, I do not know how to restore the image to a non-working device. But, I suspect it would involve a soldering iron.

If the device is "wonky", I would suggest doing a factory reset. This will format everything and restore the factory firmware then take you through the setup. If you do this, do not use the factory reset on the Device information screen. That does not format the root partition. Do a manual factory reset or use the method on the Developers options screen.

Thanks for responding. The issue I mostly face is copied ebooks dont appear, and sometimes already copied books disappear. I will do a manual reset as per your advice and see if it fixes it.

With those symptoms, the most likely problem is a corrupt database on the device. If you have a recent good backup, you can restore that. Otherwise, you should be fixed by signing out of the Kobo account on the device and back in. That will create a new database and import an sideloaded books. You will lose the reading status and annotations for sideloaded books, but, it is quicker than a full factory reset.

Hello all! So my Aura H2O just got completely blocked and I can't get it working with the manual reset. I stumbled upon this "SD image recovery" and I think it is worth giving it a try before giving up. I wonder if someone could send me the image. Thanks for the help!

Hi Guys

managed to brick my Kobo Aura H2O. I wonder if anyone is able to PM me or otherwise point me in the right direction to obtain an image file. I believe I have a Ver 1 H2O. I have successfully opened up the Kobo and gained access to the internal SD card. Your kind help would be much appreciated.
