What am I on most days??

Been watching a lot of a show called "Family Guy" ... they have a running gag on the show about words that have "wh" in them .... That stuff is hysterically funny even when I'm not on drugs. Which I still am a lot of the time lately.

Got to love a show where one of the main characters is a dog who lives for a good dry martini, discusses philosophy, and has the hots for his "owner's" wife.

Eh, I'm still on vicodin, and darvocet, and muscle relaxants, and all sorts of goodies.

Sort of funny ... I was driving home yesterday after dropping the puppy off at his new home. I hadn't been able to take my meds the whole day, so I was hurting. My head hurt, my wrist hurt ... I just hurt.

So, I was lead footing it on the highway wanting so badly to just get home and take my meds and go to bed.

And, of course I flew by a State Trooper, immediately pulled over, got out my license and braced myself for a ticket. Well, the Trooper was the same one who was at my accident, and he understood why I was in such a hurry to get home. (He asked me if there was an emergency. I told him that, to me it was an emergency, but that I would totally understand if he didn't consider it one.)

He didn't give me a ticket. I got home, took a handful of whatever was handy and went to lala land.

Oh, now .... I never said they were. Just that the Texans who live in this part of the state seem to be idiots. Either rich and uneducated or poor and uneducated. Lots of faith, but no ability for critical thought and wouldn't know the truth if it walked up and punched them in the face.

There are exceptions to the rule, of course. I have met a few good people here. Just not enough to make me want to stay here.
