Covid has given me time to sit down and read again. I have recently completed a 45 book journey of the Asimov universe in preparation for the new Foundation TV Series releasing next month. Though I did find that journey quite rocky.

I have had Calibre installed for 10+ years, but very rarely used it. But over the last year and a half I have discovered its power. It is an amazing program. Thank you @kovidgoyal. It is the Kodi of ebooks

I am self taught with ebook editing (mainly epub). A bit of time learning CSS and HTML, off I went reformatting poor quality ebooks. I think I have it all correct as the checkers show no errors (apart from the occasional missing closing tag or similar silly mistakes)

One thing I sometimes enjoy more than reading a novel, is recreating the cover. I have discovered, whilst trying to bring my library into shape, that good quality covers for older books are difficult/impossible to find, so I recreate the covers for myself. I am happy to post before and after shots if anyone is interested, and happy to share these if they don't infringe any forum rules.

Anyway, looking forward to being an active member.

ps I did post this earlier, but it seems to have disappeared. I am assuming I must have hit Preview instead of Post???

I'm also waiting for the new Foundation series, even though I haven't read all the books (only the main trilogy). It will be released next week here on Apple TV (which I don't have, but it can be watched on a computer).
