Text chopped off at right-hand page edge... ?!

I have an epub file that reads perfectly well in the desktop e-reading software I use (Book Bazaar reader), but when I load it into Calibre, for the purpose of uploading it to my Kobo Libra H2O as a kepub file, it does something weird to a part of the text - in particular, the list of illustrations. When I open it inside Calibre, the centre of that spread of pages is offset to the right quite a bit, and the right-hand edge of the text on the right-hand page is thus pushed off the edge of the screen. No adjustments to font size etc. seem to make any difference. And when I export it to the reader, that same glitch is reproduced there.

I've googled high and low for a solution, but it doesn't seem to be something anyone else has had to deal with. If anyone could recommend a solution, or at least where to look for one, I'd be very grateful!

Your book will have some non-reflowable styling that Book bazaar is incorrectly ignoring. Use the inspector in the viewer to see what it is.

Thanks very much for the reply. I'm looking at it in the inspector right now, but can't make any sense of it. Can you recommend a pdf or video guide anywhere online that might help me to navigate it?

The Inspector is intended for folk who know HTML

and are trying to find what went south in a particular selected 'block' (left side.arrowhead means it needs to be expanded first)

The colored boxes is a representation of the Box Model as applies to the selection.
The stuff above is how it got to that (Inherited)

Google how to use chrome browser developer tools (off which the inspector is an example) and you will get plenty of tutorials.
