Developer plugin not updated in Calibre
Hi Everyone,

We just noticed that our plugin is not being updated to the latest version in Calibre when you use the "Get New Plugin" for users. Can anyone provide any guidance on what might be the cause?

It's because no __init__.py is found in the plugin zip file.

Looking at the .zip file in the BookFusion thread, you have a copy of the plugin code in a directory called BookFusion and another copy inside an OSX remnant directory _MACOSX. If you zip the contents of the BookFusion directory into a BookFusion.zip file which places the __init__.py file in the root of the .zip file, Calibre is happy to install it.

Thank you both. It appears something strange happens with Mac during the compress. Thank you for pointing that out.
