These are on sale again (introductory novella and book 1 are free). FWIW, this part of the series has been a mixed bag for me. The series runs concurrently with her Inferno Rising series that I personally enjoy more. I think each series could be read separately but the overarching plots work better together as they are intertwined. I am looking forward to book 6 in this series which comes out Aug 16.

The Hookup by Kristen Ashley (Moonlight and Motor Oil) has dropped to $0.99 for the first time.

Three books in Thea Harrison's Elder Races series have dropped to £2.99 each at Kindle UK. Books in this series don't seem to drop in price very often, either in the US or the UK, so it's odd to see three at once...

I finally took advantage of my trial Kindle Unlimited membership and so far I'm very pleasantly surprised. Maybe because I'm much more in a UF/PNR mood than any other kind of romance these days but I'm finding good cover art, formatting and editing in the Urban Fantasy lists. So far I've found a few series that I will continue and have about 2 dozen more that I will give a try. This is not good for Mount TBR but sometimes you just have to give in to reading ADD once in a while. I wish I could read faster, it feels like a bad case of my eyes being way too big for my stomach at the reading buffet.

Favorites so far are:

• Annette Marie - Guild Codex Universe
• Melissa F. Olson - Old World
• K.F. Breene - DDVN

Does anybody have any other recommendations?

I haven't read them yet, but Lindsay Buroker's Death Before Dragons series is UF and still in KU I think (I have them from her Patreon and plan to read them next year as I'm still making my way through her Emperor's Edge spin offs).

Her new Dargon Gate series is in KU but it is epic fantasy.

I think her penname stuff is in KU as well (as Ruby Lionsdrake). I enjoyed her Mandrake Company series earlier this year, but I listened to it in audio. Also it is SF.

The first Death Before Dragons, Sinister Magic was free a few days ago. I grabbed that and have it on my list to try. The Dragon Gate series is also on my list to try when I'm in the mood for something a little different. I did not know about the other pen name but I will keep that in mind if I like the Buroker titles.

There were several other first in series freebies over the past week or so I now have Emperor's Edge, Dragon Storm and the first 3 of Dragon Blood. Lots of different sub-genres to explore.

Thanks for the recommendation, apesmom. I'm not on KU but I like K.F. Breene's DDVN, so I'll go and have a look at the others. I'm now reading book #8 of DDVN, and I haven't gotten the next two books yet. I'll probably get them when the last book comes out in September, or maybe wait till there's a sale in the future if I can hold my thirst for the completion of the series.
