Saving full title length

Is there some way to make Calibre save the books in the library folder without truncating the title if it is "too long"? Is there a tweak that allows users to set the length allowed? I want the books in the files to show the entire name if possible.

I immediately thought of:
The Diamond Age: or, A Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer
and
Treasury of Folklore: Woodlands and Forests: Wild Gods, World Trees and Werewolves

Both titles certainly need truncated.
