How to save changes on closing with ezPDF reader?

After editing a pdf document – for example highlight a text or put a note in – I want to close it with all the changes (editing) in the original document. But on closing ezPDF reader only asks me if I want “save as”. This means I have to find the right directory / saving path and I have to type in a name. That’s very complicate.

I have been using ezPDF reader for a couple of years now, but on my old tablet. With the old tablet I simply closed the pdf and all the editing I hade made got saved. Why is it diffent now with the new tablet / new installed ezPDF app?

So, I guess there must be an adjustment in the settings. But I can’t find it. Anyone who can help me with that?

Thanks, Martin

… does really no one has an idea?

I have written to unidocs – with the same reaction: non. Does it mean there is no solution? Or, is my question so stupid?

Don’ t know. But this thing hassles me because I read a lot of articles (pdf papers) on my tablet. Almost all of them I want to “enrich” with notes and highlighted passages. And, with my old tablet ezPDF reader saved all the changes on closing. So, I know it works (but don’t know how) …

Did you find a solution?
I am having the same problem: I used EzPdf for years, I did not use it in the last six months and I am not back to it with a new device.
It does not save any more the changes on the original file.
I see it saves new versions in the Library folder, but this is not what I want :-(
And it is not clear to me the rule by which it decides to save a new version.
