Me too. I do wish he hadn't gotten car sick in my new car ... but that's life. Yesterday hail stones, today dog puke.

Everyone who met him said the same thing ... "How could anyone just abandon a dog this sweet and this handsome?" But for the fact that it's all I can do to take care of the animals I already have, I would have taken him like a shot. My dogs just loved him.

I don't understand why some people are so cruel to animals, nor why people can make jokes about it.

We had hail too in PA on Sunday! I'm sure you Texans are used to it, but it's pretty rare around here.

Well all's well that ends well, he's got a good home now, and you can go visit (it sounds like). Poor baby

Thank you, WDE.......I took it out about 5 minutes ago, and its cooling as we speak. The smell is heavenly. I think the cinnamon is a keeper,.......as soon as I taste some and feel its "MR worthy", I'll post the recipe.........don't we have a recipe thread?

I suppose it's possible that someone lost their job, couldn't take care of themselves or their dog, and left him in what they hoped was a wealthy enough neighborhood that someone would take him in and be able to care for him... (hey, I didn't say this hypothetical person would be very bright.)

Or, perhaps someone was vacationing in the area and their dog ran off (chasing something-- dogs do that, right?), and they couldn't find him before they had to leave?

Interesting. The English/AU spelling dictionary (which is apparently what Firefox had defaulted to) didn't know "vacationing," and the English/US version does. I suppose it would be "on holiday" in Australia, so maybe "vacationing" isn't a word there. Anyone want to confirm or dispute?

Vacationing works fine in FF Canadian Dictionary. You can come vacationing here anytime.
