Just an update: Been using my Likebook P10 for more than a week now and the battery is still at 79%. In my case, the Google Frame was the real flaw. If anyone is facing the same issue, just try to disable it. |

				Google Frame???

As I mentioned previously the battery life on my Likebook 10 has been very good, however, after the references to Google Frame, I thought I would look in my settings and sure enough it was turned off, and therefore had been off since I bought the device. Thus the question arises, what is Google Frame and why is installed on the device in the first place, particularly as it seemingly chews up battery life? |

Only with Google framework enabled, the Google Play Store can be used - some apps require such access to verify a purchase confirmation.

Also Google Playbook reader can't work at all without the Framework. So far everything else on the similar Mars works: Enable Framework, access playstore, install free application, disable framework.

My battery is not doing well again. I hard reseted it and disabled the Google Framework. I don't have any book. I just use it for taking notes and it is a pain taking it out first time in the morning for a meeting and find there is not battery. I don't want to set it up autoshutdown and I don't want to get another one since I like very much this one. I have the backlight set up all the time but I think it also happens without having it. Any suggestion? Thanks Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk |

In principle it looks like it is the backlight. If I let it with the backlight on, the battery will be drawn quickly. Sent from my CPH2021 using Tapatalk |

In my mimas the cable of the light moves from time to time even stops working so i have to adjust It. And also drains the battery a lot. The mimas is easy to open but i dont know about the p10.

What firmware are you all on I'm one below the current one that is on all devices it seems in the current line up on my ares (don't like the font change in the newest) and I use the front light 24/7 and at a pretty high brightness and have and use the play store so google framework enabled. When I am not getting a book or app update I have wifi and BT off and I only charge my device to 80 percent and let it die to 40% then charge it back to 80. while reading it takes like 10 hours of non stop reading to kill it to that lvl and standby can be weeks. It sounds like as stated you have some messed up app or an odd setting set. While actually fully off (not asleep) it should if say turned off at 60% stay that way for like at least 5 months if any of my other boyue devices on the same firmware are my experience.

I'm puzzled that jospalau bought what is essentially an e-reader but doesn't use it as such. My Alita is used exclusively for books and having just re-tried some of the best rated apps for reading I'm back with Librera. Everything else is so slow and glitchy that I don't find it versatile enough. Wi-fi makes a huge difference to how long my Alita lasts on a full charge so it's nearly always turned off.
