				books stored where?

On an Android phone, using Google Chrome to acccess a Calibre server, where are downloaded books stored? Are they accessable by other apps?

At home, I downloaded several books to read while away. Everything was fine, until I accidentally hit home, and of course I go to the Chrome home page, and can no longer access the Calibre server so cannot get to he books I downloaded. |

If you download books they will be stored in the downloads folder. If you open the books in the servers builtin reader, they are stored in the browser's internal cache and are not accessible by anything else.

I meant, open in the built-in reader. So I presume I am out of luck with my books until I get back home. I reconnect to the setver, and my opened books will be there again. If I actually download, then I can't use the built-in reader, correct? |

You use a reader app on your device for times not connected to the server.
