For another point of reference, pre-ordered it on May 24 in Edmonton (Canada) and it has not shipped quite yet:


Sounds like they're trying to manage the ship dates so that they show up close to the release date. Fingers crossed.

Mine hasn't shipped yet, but I didn't pull the trigger until June 8. Previous Kobos have gotten to me here in Michigan pretty quickly once they shipped.

My last Kobo came to Michigan on the slow boat, and with the Covid border tightening I would not be surprised if the boat is even slower. I ordered on May 28 and have not gotten a ship notification yet. It would be nice to get the notification early but even if I do, I expect it will take another couple of weeks.
