How soon did you get the code for the $10? It said up to 2 days but it sounds like you got the email right away?

I haven't received that code yet. I'm just basing this off the confirmation I got when I purchased the gift card. It took about a day to get the code for the first promo.

Yeah, I bought the cheapest version for $185. The trade in credit of $50 (20% of regular price $250) was applied when I checked out.

In regard to urban survival, I found two portable solar panels at 30% off, so I chose one. I don't know if I made the right choice, but they were both highly rated.

Did the same thing this morning. Bought my wife the basic Kindle with a Moko cover, got the cover basically free with the $10 discount.

I'm really not seeing anything I want or need this time around. Probably doesn't help that I'm not interested in any of Amazon's devices right now, which is where the best deals seem to be.

Since I have that $10 credit I need to use by tomorrow, I'll wait to see if anything shows up I need/want. But I'm probably going to use it on an extra 8 foot shower hose, just in case the current one spouts a leak.

At least I got $20 in credits from the two gift card deals.

I always need something like Splenda, cat food [the cats made me write that, help I’m being held hostage by furballs! ], paper plates, and lots of other common household items.

Also, don't forget Amazon is offering some good deals on digital content for renting/buying movies and shows, and some good $0.99 per month fees on some of their TV/Entertainment channels. In the past I've taken advantage of some of the $1/month channel deals just to try them out for a month or so.
