Yes. Mars, Muses, Mimas, Alita etc are all based on RK3368 platform. The Plus is based on RK3026.

Do you know whether latest Boox devices implement Snapdragon? If I had to buy a 10" device, I would buy one which could be updated.

I don't know. Having snapdragon doesn't mean easier to update. It means open source (and optimized) kernel on best case scenario.

FW updates, between android versions, rely on compatible Hardware Abstraction Layer (hal). Until very recently that involved vendors reworking that driver. Now google is trying to improve things adding a description language for hardware abstraction (HIDL) See https://source.android.com/devices/a...ture/hal-types. So, in theory, devices that use the new hal+hidl are easier to update by vendors, which only need to update the driver to match the new api but don't need to update the (internal logic of the) driver itself.

My confidence in Boyue and Onyx is still zero. They ship fw updates but never saw one that involved differences in binary blobs.

I had known of that site long ago, but I couldn't find that pdf printed. Doy you know where could I get it?

I don't understand. The docs there are not for end users. They are for device developers. The AOSP source code *is* the cannonical documentation. I don't know if there is some sort of technical pdf out there, but I'm pretty sure I won't understand a s**t.

But the blobs that need to be ported between android versions (using the legacy hal) are documented in https://source.android.com/devices. These are the things devs pull from their working devices when porting/building a specific AOSP derivate, like Lineage.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself: I'm interested in its architecture itself, but a more or less general overview. Of course, not technical documents with detailed descriptions. I had been looking for it in that site, but I fear have to buy a book.

No sabemos lo que envió, ya que no tiene la clave de descifrado en el enlace. ¿Puedes decir cuál es el error? ¿Es el enlace a un archivo pdf o img para flashear con la herramienta de Android tool?

Traduje esto con Google, espero que tenga sentido.

Oh, ¿te refieres al error que aparece diciendo que falta el archivo de configuración cuando inicias la herramienta de Android? Coloque la carpeta que tiene la herramienta en su unidad c: \ al principio. Luego, el exe encontrará la configuración correcta y estará en inglés. Si ese no es el error del que habla, por favor aclare. También debería mostrar un cargador encontrado si detecta su dispositivo que arrancó en el cargador de arranque

¿Dónde tienes la carpeta para la herramienta de Android en este momento en tu computadora, como la ruta del archivo?

¿Puedes tomar una captura de pantalla del lugar donde se encuentra en el explorador de archivos?
