Sure!. Anything that hides the UI of the program (partially or completely), except notifications and PictureInPicture (youtube, netflix, maps...)

Some examples that can happen while KOReader is in the foreground:

1. open a link in the browser
2. do a dict lookup on a 3rd party app
3. interactions with the status bar.
4. Clicking on a notification.
5. Press the home button
6. Press the recents button
7. Switch to another app.

FWIW, verbose debug logs could also help tell you what the plugin is interpreting as "user input" (look for `AutoTurn: onInputEvent`)

I enabled the option, where can I get the log?

Go to help->report a bug and attach the crash.log file here.

But, since onyx devices are very very broken, you might want to experiment a bit with USB debugging, adb logcat et al if you want to dig a bit more on what's happening in their AOSP version that some people call android.

Maybe I did something wrong: I sought in vain the crash.log and any *.log file in the koreader folder.
I only found imsdk_20210611.log inside the device, but I don't know if it belongs to koreader

Hi all,

I wish to install Koreader on a Boyue Likebook Mimas reader.
This reader is on Android 6.0.1 with a CPU Rockchip RK3368 Octa-core 1.5 GHz.

The current version of Koreader was installed 2 years ago by F-Droid, no update is available.
The Koreader version installed is v2015.11-1868-gb8d9598_2018-10-06.
Any attempt to update by OTA fails.

I see 2 versions of 2021.07 release for Android, arm and x86. Does one of these fit to the Boyue proc ?
If not, is there a link to the last koreader version available for my reader ?

That'd be the ARM version. Did you refresh the F-Droid packages though? There should definitely be a more recent version there, 2021.08 within a few days.

I installed arm apk 2021.O8 "Fall weather" release with success !
