Thanks for ur early response. So i did accordingly and wordwise is working properly now but Goodreads sharing feature of book progress is gone. So it's kind of give nd take either u can have wordwise or Goodreads sharing, whichever is ur priority.

Just let me know if u think m wrong. But thanks again for ur help.

Right, you can't have both unless it's a paid book. Maybe someone has better knowledge of Kindle firmware would like to investigate this.

But I find it quite funny that amazon don't mess up with X-ray feature but just wordwise, hard for me to understand.

Even Goodreads which is owned by Amazon, sharing feature works with sideloaded books using amazon ASIN.

But I know u will find the solution for this problem soon.

I assume you live in China. GFW blocks https://raw.githubusercontent.com where nltk data packages are hosted. Get yourself a VPN or something, you will need it for X-Ray since GFW also blocks Wikipedia.

what can I do ?
Please update WordDumb to v3.7.4 then post the error message.

v3.7.4:
- add 335 and update 149 lemmas
- display subprocess.CalledProcessError.stderr in error dialog
- remaind user some domains may be blocked in error dialog

You're right. When I use VPN, the plugin works correctly.

In the examples it appears that the words are ending on a syllable boundary. Perhaps the book uses soft hyphens and those are being treated as word terminators instead of being ignored.

This problem occurs in both AZW3 and KFX, and I have uploaded this book. At the same time, I also uploaded ePub file. I output azw3 and KFX through the kindlegen plugin of Sigil. The forum seems to reject KFX, so I add it to the zip.

I confirm, that in your files exists soft-hyphens – & #173;
These are not visible marks, but are easy to remove.
Just move the cursor over a known word (eg protected) and copy the invisible character that is between "pro" and "tected".
Replace this character to "empty/nothing" and you will solve your problem.
