Just discovered Plato, wow, what an awesome way to read PDFs on Kobo!
I have three questions which have probably been asked but which I cannot seem to filter out of this thread: 1. and most obvious: Is (or will there ever be) a way to view and export annotations and notes? 2. Is there a way to open files downloaded to the Kobo (Forma) through Dropbox? They show up in the regular Kobo library, but not in Plato. 3. Is there a way to read Pocket articles in Plato, together with highlighting? Even if none of this could be done, Plato would still be great. But one can dream, right ![]() |

For example, if your document has annotations, you'll find an Annotations entry in the book menu (tap the title label in the top bar). If you select that, you'll see an in-memory HTML representation of the document's annotations. You'll find a Save entry in the book menu of that document. Quote:

I'm trying to run Plato on an Elipsa.
No luck so far, it directly returns to Nickel on starting Plato. info.log Quote:
Adding the Elipsa Model to nickel.sh didn't help. 387) PRODUCT_ID=0x4233 ;; Neither did removing the battery settings from the config. I assume I'll have to wait for a new Plato version, but maybe there is something else I could try? |

No, it runs on a completely new SoC, nothing you can do on your end.

I was going to submit a test binary but I suddendly realised that the ioctl calls for updating the screen have changed.
I'm afraid you'll have to wait until fbink supports the Elipsa. @NiLuJe: Am I correct in assuming that the symlink for the battery will also be battery (and not mc13892_bat) on older devices running the newest firmware? Don't you think it might be worth asking @ewphoenix123 to record touch/pen events from /dev/input/event1 in case the touch protocol also changed? |

Very nice application, faster than anything I've used before. Thank you.
Is there any way to change the UI font size? |

Pretty much all my book titles are truncated or the series info is cropped off. The default font is a little large for my taste.
Or a setting to put the series info into a new line like KO reader does It's not a big issue just wondered if there was a setting for this. Thanks for taking the time. Again nice application. Dave |
