Dr Drib, I'll take a picture with a pocket enough big to fit that big one :P More seriously, I guess since I'm in Canadaland, I might get it early (it was the case with KA1) so obivously, if it's the case, I'll take a few pictures.

Thank you!

Considering this, I plan to buy the Elipsa.

Yeah, my hope is that they've added a lot of features to this Kobo, specifically for reading PDFs.

But, who knows, maybe I'm living in another galaxy...

This is not a problem for Boox and Likebook devices.

I haven't read that but I guess the mod community might try to do something that allow that.

As for the Elipsa, same "need", I got several hardcover DnD books that are way too big to fit on a 8", I hope that 10" will be enough to be able to read them in bed.

video (in French)

An interesting video in French on I had to restart it several times so I learned to note often where I was timewise.
I don't know what it will be like in reality, but on screen the 227 dpi doesn't seem a problem. The fact that it is not comfort light will be for reading at night. The tester said she found implementing dropbox complex, and she advised that there was a battery for the stylus at the bottom the box.

EDIT: and here is the good ereader video - just out of the box comment on the hardware, but more detailed on that.

The fact that the reviewer keeps mentioning a Forma while showing a Libra is mildly infuriating.

It's hard for Kobo to create even lighting on 10.3 inches when they haven't even managed to do it on 8 inches.
The lighting at 8 inches are only bearable for me by reading in landscape mode

I've just looked through Kobo's user guides for Elipsa.

First there is no mention whatsoever of being able to see two e book pages simultaneously, contrary to what I thought I'd seen somewhere.

Second I don't think I'll use the handwritten notes or the notebook, but the stylus should be very helpful for underlining and moving those handles, which I have much difficulty doing, especially with my rapidly worsening arthritis. And it could develop into a help for turning pages etc.

Ah, good -- thanks! And I see the Gizmodo article actually shows a picture of it attached with the thicker bezel on the left -- yay!

The lack of warm light doesn't bother me a bit. I seldom use the light on my ereaders let alone the warm light function. Since I wouldn't be using this to read in bed, I don't think I'd miss having it.
