Thank you for your kind reply. I figured out that by doing as per your suggestion, it was taking me to a different tab rather than opening pop up in the same tab. Can I open pop up meaning in the same tab similar to calibre ebook viewer.

No, if you open a different website in the same tab you will no longer be reading the book.
