So got it in my hands and it's great. Size is pretty nice, so glad I didn't go with the Libra as a lot of people say the Forma is too big.

No Fnac logo also, just their store on the store list.

...and boy the power button... I was thinking I had a defective one, I couldn't even turn it on at first. It's pretty bad on mine but I guess it takes some getting use to. Not easy to send it to sleep and wake it up again, I manage to do it 3 or 4 times out of 5.

Thanks guys and gals for the help so far

You could try using a magnet to turn it on. Maybe a forma owner will let you know where on the Forma to try.

No need, it's a bit uncomfortable and it's a strange thing on an otherwise very well made device but it is doable.

With a sleep cover, it is much heavier (about 400 g) than devices with a power button that returns a sense of activity (265 g).
I am also bothered by the light colors in conjunction with the screen technology used (Mobius).
Anyway, I have devices that I like much better in use and handling.

:Well, I'm returning it... now I can't make it work no matter what I try. Went to bed last night thinking I was going to read a bit and I just couldn't wake it. There's something wrong with the unit

With the official Kobo sleep cover for a Forma, my handy dandy scale says it weighs 324 grams. Out of curiosity, which 8" screen device do you have that weighs 265 grams in it's cover? Or even without it's cover?

Weird and wonderful that you can see a difference between a colour changing light on a Mobius plastic substrate screen and a colour changing light on a glass substrate screen. Considering the display is opaque so the light never reaches the substrate, a fascinating observation.

I dislike covers.

I have 3 different devices with Mobius display - Boox, Likebook and Tolino (Kobo).
All have exactly the same color, which is different from glass modules - your silly talk about module transparency is completely unnecessary.

So quick update. FNAC customer care is atrocious but luckily I had paid for the Forma with paypal, they just decided in my favour so got the money back.

Amazon just fully integrated Portugal with the Spanish site, so now kindles do ship over here and Prime works with full benefits.

There's a Prime day in a few days, so I'll be ordering an ereader from them. I still like the idea of a Forma but the Pocketbook Inkpad 3 Pro is still an option. Let's see if any of them go on sale.
