Post Layout isn't saved after I restart my laptop?
I mainly use calibre on my laptop and I made changes from the default layout. However once I restart my laptop, for some reason, it goes back to default layout?

I use the layout button on the bottom right corner. I don't know if there is a way to edit layout from the preferences icon, but I couldn't figure out a way to do it.

How do I make it so my layout arrangement stays saved?

Usually, those problems are due to the inability to write to the configuration folder %appdata%\Roaming\calibre.

Cloud sync is your enemy. It can fight you. Do read the official FAQ on NAS / cloud

Factory default setting has a "Layout" button
