			As MastiffMike said, you can enter the book twice, and then edit the "series" field to show a different series for each copy.  I just finished doing this for some Harry Bosch books that cross over to Renee Ballard series, so one copy might say "Harry Bosch [21]" while the other says "Renee Ballard [3]"  Calibre will warn you that you are adding a book already in the library, but it will still allow the duplicate entry to proceed.

			I duplicated the book. Then in the title, I added a colon followed by the series.  I repeated it on the second book following the colon with the second series.  That way when I do a search for duplicates, I can see that they are part of 2 series. Then just add the series in the series section as you would if they were separate titles.  This was a suggestion way back in the Calibre forum questions and was the simplest solution for me.
