If you ever flashed the firmware img of the mars on the ares your screwed for as you already noticed in the other thread about this specific issue the touch matrix of the ares and the Mars are not the same and the Mars firmware update to 8.1 has touch matrix info that seemingly flashes the digitizer firmware also with an update. The ares firmware does not have this component so it never erases the code the mars img put in so touch becomes just jacked up. The pen works because it's the wacom component which is separate from the main digitizer. As far as my knowledge the boyue devs don't get this part of the firmware from the manufacture. So they can't provide it as a fix. The biggest issue is that they don't explain any of this well in their documents. So unless they can provide you with a special firmware file to flash that specific component I don't think it will ever work again with capacitive touch. As the screen is expecting different touch points in the os. You have 0 touch or just off axis touch? Did Ottisch provide you with a backup of their device system partition or just the file bouye provides with the stock firmware?

Here is my Ares backup, but I think, it is from Android 6 (Im not sure)

I think it has to be a 8.1 backup at this point. Someone's borrowing mine at the moment, when I get it back I'll try to get one made. At this point though this has happened to more then one person and boyue needs to get a file made to address this in my opinion. Unfortunately for that to happen I guess people would need to bug them about it on Facebook maybe or some other social outlet.

It is a 6.0 full backup with all partitions and should, in my opinion, be able to completely restore the 6.0 state - then the 8.1 update!

Sorry for the delay in answering, Boyue, still no answer, thank you very much for your Backup. I tried to run it with the AndroidTool that you sent me, and also try it with the recovery mode, of course I rename it as update.zip, of course the Output folder.
But it does not work.
In the link is the recovery mode error image that happens with your Android 6.0 backup.

The zip contains individual partitions that must be restored accordingly.
It is not an image file

Could you describe me how I can install that backup, I have no idea, I would be with the recovery mode or the Android Tool, and with which file I start.

I understand. Well, in the Output that you sent me, the boot.bin is missing, I think that's why it doesn't work hehe...when I install it all, it doesn't boot, it makes sense, is that, or wait to have a recovery image with the boot of the android 6.0 version.
