Ohio does the same on Monday. Age 16+ starting April 29 (though 16 and 17 year olds are limited to the Pfizer vaccine). I've got a nephew in his early 20s who has an appointment for him and his wife on April 31.

That is good. Texas cut off the age limit at 18+, but going down to 16 probably would have been safe. I know that at least one of the COVID-19 vaccine makers is starting a study to see if the vaccine is safe for children. Hopefully all the makers will soon have a solution for the children.

Pfizer was approved for 16+ when they got their emergency use authorization. Everything else, I think was 18+. I'm not sure about AstraZeneca, but then they've not received their EUA in the US, yet.

TN will be opening the vaccine to all adults "no later than April 5th", according to tn.gov. I intend to get mine at the Kroger pharmacy instead of the massive vaccination center downtown. It's a lot closer.

My wife says she heard our state (Virginia) will be opening the shots to everyone before the end of April. Things appear to be looking up in most (but not all) places.

North Carolina is opening to all adults on April 7th. I've been spending about an hour a day registering my wife and checking for appointments anywhere I can get her one starting that day.

Yesterday they mentioned that the US hit the 100 million people vaccinated goal already and hope to get to 200 million in the next 42 days (or thereabouts). With more vaccines coming soon we should be in better shape, as long as enough people choose to get vaccinated. Plus at least some of the pharmaceutical companies with vaccines are already working on boosters for variants.

The US and other first world countries need to do as much as possible to help poor nations get vaccinated too.

Got a call from my partner's Health coordinator.
We should be eligible to take an appointment, him because is at higher risk, and I because I'm his caregiver.
I called, as the online tools are not updated to integrate us, and it's the same for the call center answering the phone. Maybe they will fix that in the following days, we'll see.

But I'm glad we are closer now. I look forward for him to get his 2 shots.

Currently waiting for a new date/ time for 2nd Pfizer shot. I (and many coworkers) had our first shot as soon as were eligible as Front Line workers. My first dose was Monday, March 1st with the second one scheduled for Monday, April 5th.

Other colleagues who went a week or so later had their second dose scheduled further out; some time in late June or early July.

Late last week, those of us with the earlier second doses received eMails cancelling those appointments with no new dates listed

For what it's worth, I'm in Ontario, Canada.

They might want to schedule you for the extended 4 months wait.
Apparently, the recommendations to stick to original few weeks schedule only applies to high risk (chronic disease) population and elders.

Just got contacted to schedule my first shot of Pfizer on April 8th, the second is scheduled on July 29th.

Had my second Pfizer shot this morning. I am sore and pretty tired now 12 hours later, but the sense of relief is immense.
