Yeah, I noticed that one two-book series (Clockwork Boys) and nice to know that Paladin's Grace is in the same world and has a sequel coming. Maybe I'll give those a try. But the "hooks" really worked on me at the end of Defensive Baking, and so I have my fingers crossed for another book there too - I kind of want to see Mona growing up a bit more...🤞

Various forms of dwarf bread can be used as weapons, e.g. battle muffins and drop scones

Honestly, I made brownies once that could have qualified as dwarf bread. They came out so hard that even a knife wouldn't go through them. Overbaked I think.
