Through a whirlwind of inspiration I've finally dusted off my bricked Kobo Glo HD in hopes of resurrecting the forgotten tome and reinvigorating an inspired desire for knowledge and insight that only the written word can sate. I find myself writing this in the early morning with one mission and one humble request, assistance in procuring the covetous kobo glo hd image.

Hi, I bought a Kobo Glo HD (N437) from eBay. It wasn't booting so I opened it up and saw that the SD card is missing.
Can I have a firmware image, please.
Is it just a matter of copying and pasting the image onto a new SD card or do I have do to anything else to get it running?

You need to write the image to the card. That replaces everything on the card. There are instructions in Memory Upgrade Mod Guide. They are for the Glo, but the basic steps and tools are the same.

People don't know its mandatory for the kobo to work?
