Question about resetting a Kindle, and the metadata cache

Obviously resetting the Kindle will delete the metadata cache, but if I copy it before resetting it, then re-add it can it be saved that way? I don't want to have to go through the pain of rematching all my books to my libraries again. Amazon titles all have the series in them, and Calibre doesn't, so I have to match each one.

IF you recreate al the files and metadata cache exactly as they were before after your reset it will re-use the cache.
