Just got back to my hotel room... I'm in Seattle on work-related training. Ready to decompress from a full day's study before doing it again tomorrow. Maybe I'll work a bit on my site redesign before I turn in. On the other hand, maybe I'll just watch a DVD of Metropolis or Cowboy Bebop before I crash.

Considering the timeframe, your first thing to do is to prevent dehydration of the body. Lowering the ac was excellent. In hot countries where kids die of it after severe bouts of digestive disorders, they are now treated with a solution of water salt and sugar. The ratio of which I can't remember. What we do here is something similar. Diluted seven-up type soda and salted crackers( 2 waters to one soda). Other types of soda will not work as well because coloring agents are irritants to the digestive tract.

Some digestive disorders can go on for months. You've now gone out alone with this for too long. Go to a clinic!

All I see is a client once in a while. I'm glad not to see suffering people because that would be depressing to me.

Except for the fact that .... that particular bit of Pratchett just reminds me that people (even people here) think drowning an animal in a sack is the basis for a great joke.

And, yes .... there are times I get so angry at people, I could just plain scream.

On another topic, I've got lots of weak green tea to drink. I'm not going to dehydrate. No one is going to drive in to town to pick anything up for me, and I am going to the doctor on Friday.

Grabbing some wine and about to start watching Fritz Lang's 'Dr Mabuse, the gambler' on DVD.

The whole film is about 4 hours long - so I'll be watching it in installments.

Looking forward to getting Flyboys in the mail today from Netflix. Seeing that when it first came out was sort of the inspiration for my interpretation of Harv and Vera.

Curious. My most recent thoughts regarding Harv and Vera came from watching One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest. Luckily (for everyone), I've not written that installment, yet. Perhaps I should try being inspired by something different.

Right now, I'm wondering where our Queen went to. I've not been particularly active here lately, but I've hardly seen any posts from her. Is she away? Has she been captured The SHUMS? Is she out looking for PlanetHead? Did Lady Blue (the forum software come-to-life) attempt to take over? Does she only post "serious" (hah!) posts now? Is she at a (what's that guy's name) concert? Is she on strike with the rest of France? Is she consumed with consuming Pasta Zelda alla MR? Just what's the deal, huh?
