Library organization, subfolders in author folders

Hello, before of everything, send a welcome to all the comunity of calibre. I appears for here searchin for a question, specifically with the kind of order them the ebooks, step to relate: I have one main folder that contaings all the authors (than are folders too), and inside of the authors, i have the following: if it's a only book what not have continuity, are placed freely across the author folder, but (and here is when my dudes comes) if the author have a saga of book, i have another folder whit the name of the saga and with the correspondingly ebooks of the saga inside. I question, Can calibre detect this to the hour of compound the library and leave in his internal configuration the folders arquitecture: name of Library|Folders with Authors|Unique books & |Folders whit the sagas?. Thank you very much.

calibre imports books into its own folder/file structure, over which you have no control. See this thread for details and explanations.

There might be a way to pick up the author name/series name from your folder structure when importing, but I'm not sure that this is possible.

Most likely, calibre will just read the metadata from your books' files.

The MFI Media File Importer plugin can import your books while converting the OS directory structure into book metadata. Easy.
