Considering Jon goes weeks after updates are released and only updates when he charges his kobo I’m rather baffled as to why a heftier battery is needed or even really desired. Give me a more power efficient CPU which is also more powerful. You get longer battery life and a snappier device without adding weight with a larger battery.

No buttons=no deal
Besides, I love the lopsided design and strongly prefer it to the rectangular one. I wasn't moved by the Aura One and its successor would do nothing for me either. Now a new Forma with some interesting updates thrown in might tempt me. |

I like the design of the H2O.No button and it's very nice to hold. A new Forma with a similar design would be very nice.

I have both a h2o and a forma. I wish the h2o had buttons and I wish the forma fit in my pocket. Sigh. But I do read pdfs, so at least sometimes I'm happy.

Given what Geek1011 has said and that my H2O is working without a problem, I'll wait to see what Kobo comes out with in 2021. I was thinking of getting a new Reader, but now I'll wait.
