the bot doesnt understand when i ask for customer care, i do have an ad blocker and the new support is blocked. but i have emailed them and no response

Ooh, thank you! Those worked for me last year, so giving them a try now.

Also, last year, Walmart tried to charge tax on the cards when purchasing in California, where gift cards are not taxed. I eventually argued them out of it, but glad to see that this year they have updated their system and no tax was charged.

FWIW, if you participate in the Rakuten points program, the Kobo points earning rate is back up to 5%, not 2.5%. Probably temporary for the holidays, but fingers crossed it might last a while instead...
