Download metadata

Hello,

I have a pdf on my library with metadata missing.

So I try the download metadata function and it find results on google, I choose one and than it let me choose the cover (I choose the one in the pdf).
But then when I click OK it doesnt add author, description, tags...

What am I doing wrong?

No clue what you did wrong, I was not there

You are describing the (typical)action from the Metadata Edit window?
Choose metadata from results, then it proceeds to the Cover.
You need to OK the Cover.

Configure Metadata (button at the bottom).
Your selected source may not have those fields enabled.
That window shows the Overall fields, enabled
BUT there is the Configure Selected source, at the bottom, that allows a Per Source fine tune

Make sure all the columns you want metadata for are properly configured in options:

download data > configure download > metadata fields to download > tick all the columns you want

And also

download data > configure download > click on source e.g google > configure selected source > tick all the columns you want
