The standard of the pen

Dear Guys ,
I have a BOOX note , I am going to buy a pen to write notes on it ,
mostly for those PDF ebook or documents . For some reasons , I did not have the pen when I bought this 10.3 inch ereader .

Unfortunately , I am a bit confused about the standard of pen since there are many tablet and ereader on the market .

I am considering to buy this one in amazon ,
Wacom LP1100K 4K Pen for Intuos Tablet
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CYRWTZF...v_ov_lig_dp_it

Is that any specification for those pen ? I heard people said , just buy wacom pen , but is there any other standard for wacom ?

Can anyone help , it is sales on amazon so I hope I can ordered before the sales end .
Thank you in advance

@swordman Whether it works with the Onyx Boox device: Check the pen has EMR technology.

I'm using this one.

@ottischwenk Last time I checked the Lamy was much better priced! Somewhere around 25€!

@swordman Take care to also look at the tip of the pen. The Staedler has a pointy tip with rubber feel, while the stock and the lamy have a rounded tip. It seems to be a point of personal preference. However, those preferences rather differ in our household. The thickness of the pen chosen is also rather different. The stock pen from Onyx is much thinner than both the Lamy and the Steadler Norris Digital.

Yes, can't find a trace of it either. I was probably mistaken.
@swordman The bulk of the info on pens for Onyx is in this thread.

Thank you Sir !

I check the Amazon web site again , the link I posted above , the product info said :
Thanks to Wacom's EMR technology, the pen is battery free and never requires charging, so it's ready to go whenever you are.

So , is that means this pen works on my BOOX note ?
I am not going to buy an over budget pen for this ereader as most of the time is only read .

Thank you for replying again

Intuos pens don’t work!!! I know it seems weird that don’t because it’s made by Wacom but they don’t.

Look for pens compatible with Samsung Note/Galaxy Tab series. The Staedler Norris Digital is a good cheap option.

He is right. The review you link to is from October this year, this is after the RM2 hit the homes.

The LAMY pen was between 25€ and 29€ in late spring on Amazon.de.

Look here - Lamy is no cheap company.

Exactly, I have the Norris Digital for my old Note and that works just fine. Of course if you want to spend over a hundred dollars then the Lamy is a good choice but any EMR compatible pen will work, and there are loads out there.
I just tried the Galaxy Tab S4 pen, its really nice and heavy, pressure sensitivity is good and it has a button on the side that erases. It just about fits the standard Onyx pen loop (tightly) so is a good replacement, and is easy to find secondhand.

Just picked up an S3 tab pen secondhand (as shown above) for £10 - pressure sensitivity is good, writing feel is good, fits the standard pen loop, button on the side erases.. think I may well sell the Norris! The S4 pen is a better pen but bigger and has no clip...
