I would have been perfectly happy with my current smaller size set, waiting for it to die before replacing it, but no, they have to come up with this irresistible sale price and make me salivate over a new set, and then snatch it away from my grasping fingers. Fiddlesticks.

On the 1st sale they had $88 TV. I finally got 1 on the 4th go round. Last night I wanted 2 of the bluetooth speakers 15 MINS Before the sale Price Dropped! Yes I got them ..on the way!

I did miss out on the Hert wet/dry vac grrr UPDATE: Got this also Guess they got more in.

Grr. After buying that Lenovo Smart Clock with Google Assistant, this popped up:

Lenovo Smart Tab M8 Android tablet w/Google Assistant for $59

For me, in the bedroom that would be better because my eyes are old and dodgy and it has a bigger screen so I could better see it when I'm on the other side of the room. And apparently it's a full blown tablet so you could pull it out of its stand and do tablet things while you're lying in bed.

The smart clock may actually be better if you're wanting it to show you the time while the lights are off, as neither device appears to have an AMOLED screen. Those allow only the lit pixels to be turned on, so all the black is true black. Other screen types have to light up at least the black area around the clock display, so the black is emitting light. This isn't all that noticeable in a lit room, but in a dark bedroom it can be like staring into the sun. A smaller screen is better in that scenario, since there's fewer pixels to emit light.

That would be a problem if it was true, but it's not.

I doubt it puts out anywhere near as much light as the green light(s?) on the power strip I have in my bedroom which almost double as a night light.

One of today's Amazon Epic Deals is 30% off on WD/SanDisk Drives and Memory products. I'm eyeing one of the SSD portable drives, but haven't made up my mind yet. Also some micro SD cards that are looking good. And all the way up to a WD 20TB My Book Duo Desktop RAID External Hard Drive, which I would have no use for but somebody may .

And I digress, but it's mind-boggling to me that one can now get 1TB on a microSD card - that's double the SSD in my not-that-old laptop.

The $98 6TB WD Blue drive is tempting - it would be a nice upgrade to the 2TB drive I have for dedicated video editing use. I don't think SSDs are yet suitable for editing multi-GB video files.

The $88 1TB internal SSD matches the price I paid last year for a Samsung 1TB QVO drive. I'm shopping for a new PC for my wife - missed out on a nice Acer Aspire deal yesterday ($450 for 16GB i5-10400 with 512GB SSD). Most $500-ish PCs will only have a 256GB SSD so this would be a nice expansion (and wouldn't tax the puny power supply in most cheap PCs).
