Hello,
I keep getting this error when I am adding books: Failed to write data to address: \\.\pipe\CalibreGUI-xxxx with error: Unknown error I noticed it happened when I updated to 5.0 |

drag and drop will not generate that error. You could get that error when double clicking. It will happen if communicating between the calibre instance called to add the books and the running calibre fails. This typically happens because of an antivirus program interfering. To confirm try running windows in safe mode and see if the problem goes away.
