Today's big deal in the UK looks to be all of the 21 books in Dana Stabenow's Kate Shugak series, at £0.99 each, unfortunately only for a few more hours, because I was busy earlier today, and didn't get a chance to look until now...

link to the sale: https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=s9_ac...d_i=5400977031

I used to be very fond of this series, but got sort of mad at Stabenow about the next to last book in the series, Bad Blood, which she finished with an unpardonable (at least to me) cliff-hanger, and then went off and wrote three books in another series, before coming back to the Shugak series. So, I objected both to the cliff-hanger, and then to her going radio-silent for a couple of years on top of it all. And, I wasn't super fond of the way that the latest book addressed the outstanding issues either. (I'm trying to avoid spoilers...) So the jury is out for me on the last couple of books in the series, but I still really like the earlier titles, and at £0.99, they are great bargains. Obviously YMMV...

A bunch of interesting (to me, at least) price drops on mysteries at Kindle UK, all at £0.99 unless otherwise indicated. Most/all of these are probably from the new monthly sale for November, but if you really want one, don't count on it, go ahead and buy - I haven't verified any of these as part of the sale. Many have been on sale before, so check carefully before you buy...

Pollard & Toye are ready to solve another cosy mystery! Perfect for fans of Agatha Christie, M C Beaton, Sophie Hannah and Faith Martin.

Does someone in the village have a motive for murder…?

The aristocratic Tirle family have made their Elizabethan manor house, Brent, open to the public for the first time in its history.

All seems to be going well… until a corpse is discovered by one of the visitors.

With clues pointing to a spate of manor house break-ins across the country, the local force call upon Detective Superintendent Pollard and Detective Sergeant Toye from Scotland Yard to help.

Can Pollard and Toye find the identity of the dead man? Did the Tirle family have anything to do with the murder?

Will they crack the case of this Death on Doomsday?

Death on Doomsday is the fourth cosy village mystery in the Pollard & Toye crime series: an intriguing police procedural set in rural England.

I see that today is the birthday of Erik Spoelstra, who is the coach of the Miami Heat basketball team.

I recalled that last name, and sure enough his father posted here in 2010!

All seven of the titles in the Inspector Pekkala series by Sam Eastland (per SYKM, this is a pen name for Paul Watkins) have dropped in price at Kindle UK, mostly to £1.99, but a couple to £2.49. These include, in series order:
  • Eye of the Red Tsar
  • Shadow Pass, apa The Red Coffin
  • Archive 17, apa Siberian Red
  • The Red Moth
  • The Beast in the Red Forest, £2.49
  • Red Icon
  • Berlin Red, £2.49
There was an omnibus of the first three titles floating around on sale a while back, and some of the later ones have been on sale before individually, so check carefully before you buy! I've read and enjoyed the first three titles in this series - see "omnibus on sale" above . Also per SYKM, the second one was a finalist for a Historical Dagger back when it was published.
