Congrats - hope you get the other two.

I'm not eligible for this one and the most of the others, because I've done similar offers before. Additionally, I refuse to do any of the physical store offers, because I don't shop at any of them to begin with and it's not worth the hassle.

There are over a dozen of these free credit offers totaling around $300 in free money and all I've managed to snag were the $5 Prime Video and $5 Coinstar offers.

Ten whole dollars - I'm ecstatic

Why? Who knows? Maybe they got complaints about limiting it to first-time users without specifying that. I don't care, I'm just happy I got the credit. This and the small business credit give me $15.

Semi-related: After several purchases at Amazon when I was not offered any incentive for no-rush shipping, today the no-rush offer was $2.

The sales are on from October 12 to October 14 in order to compete with Amazon on Prime Day. You won't find a comparable Kindle at lower prices.

I buy my books from amazon and haven’t learned calbre. Is it worth trying a Kobo to play with?

I think so. The firmware is so much nicer. And you get much better eBook management.

With Calibre 4.23 and the DeDRM plugin, you can remove the DRM and convert to ePub.

Maybe download Calibre and try it out. It's not that hard, but I personally don't want to bother with it for converting files. I just use it to save books that I've paid money for (as opposed to free).
