Only one word, the one defined, in bold, on the first line. I can live with it, but would prefer not to. I would have to look up how to take a screenshot, but I'll try to, only not today.

EDIT: I was mistaken - I HAD patched the dictionary, as jackie_w saw in my yamls. I used her updated version, and everything is fine now. jackie also explained why some dictionaries weren't concerned: see https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=42.

I think it may depend which browser you're using. My standard browser is Google Chrome and I don't see the blue "Feedback" button down the right side. However if I open kobo.com in Mozilla Firefox, I do see it.

Or maybe it's something to do with settings in each browser. I'm no expert in browser-related stuff.
I'm using Chrome, and I can't see a Feedback button.

Could it be related to using an ad blocker?

Well sleuthed, Sherlock. I do have an ad-blocker on Chrome but not Firefox.

Now I know what to do should I ever want to send feedback, thanks!

The dict directory for custom dictionaries is nice, but I wish the naming was better.

If it is in the dict directory, I should be able to drop a file without the dicthtml prefix, or alternately, the dicthtml prefix should be removed in the dictionary list when it is displayed...

That would indeed be a good idea.

I setup a new Kobo Forma yesterday and noticed there was no option to login and authenticate Adobe (except with ADE on a computer). I have always done it on the ereader in the past. Has the option been removed in this (or some fairly recent firmware)?

Kobo have never done the Adobe authentication from the device. It has always been by using ADE. There is an option to remove the authentication, but, not to do it in the first place.

Hmm... what?!? If it had been anyone but you saying this I would had say no way. I'm very sure I have only authenticated my Kobos from the ereader (I rarely, almost never use ADE (and have never for my current Forma)).

Memory is a funny thing...

I'll see if I can find my old Aura HD and see what that firmware shows, but if I had to bet anything about Kobo it's that you are always correct.

If you can find an old Kobo that's authorized, copy the authorization file and copy it to your Forma. Also, kee a copy of the file so you can copy it back if you ever need to.

Ok, checked my Aura HD, running 4.20.xxxx firmware, and there is no Adobe-login there. Maybe I'm misremembering due to having a Pocketbook between my Kobos and I copied the old activation.xml file when I got the Forma.

Interesting...

I suspect that wasn't accidental. Very sneaky of Kobo.

Loving the new OED. Ok, maybe it's not exactly the OED, but something close.

When I switched from Kindle to Kobo many years ago the dictionary was the one thing I really didn't like about Kobo.
