EPUB to PDF

Hi,

I have just installed Calibre with the DeDRM tools v6.8.0. The program works fine and I was able to import the EPUB file.

Next I wanted to convert the EPUB version to a PDF version. BUT that didn't worked. I changed in "Convert" the output format to PDF and clicked the "OK" button. For a few seconds it looked as all is working correctly but than the progress bar stopped at 47% and nothing happened any longer. After around 10 minutes I clicked the "Stop selected job" button. No PDF file was created.

Using the "Edit book" button I am able to see the html code as well as the file preview. The html files and file preview all look good but I am not able to export/convert the html file. The book has 360 pages but I would have no problems to exports 360 pages and then combine them to a single PDF file.

Using the "View" button in Calibre the file is completely distorted. The book has a lot of images and using the "View" tool means that the text and images are moved that means the text is not where it should be.

Using the Adobe Digital Edition software all works fine even if I open the file with DRM removed with Calibre.

As already mentioned using the "Edit book" button the file preview is correct.

Can anyone give me some tips how I can convert the EPUB version to a PDF file?

The EPUB file size is 98MB so I am not able to attach it to this post.

I would suggest running the conversion again and being patient.

It's a huge file, give it 30 mins before cancelling the job provided that you have a relatively modern CPU.
