Kindle PW2 to PW3 ?

Hello,

This is a very weird case. The board of my PW3 died suddenly. Not even serial output.

So I found a ebay listing of the PW3 board (PCB: 30-001512) and bought it. It just came today but to my surprise is a 30-000539 board, which seems to be a PW2. The display does not work in main mode. In recovery mode the display shows the pictures but in a corner, lower resolution.

I've been reading a lot about recovering from erased boards but this case seems undocumented to me yet.

I've been tampering with fastboot and kindletool. Already tried to push a update.bin of a PW3 into my PW2 board but fails obviously. To me, seems that partitions in PW2 are too small to acomodate PW3 rootfs. I have full serial access.

As long as I've read the boards should be the almost twins with fewer revision differences, being the big difference between PW2 and PW3 the greater display resolution.

I think that it should be possible to flash PW3 into PW2.

SO here is the question: can anyone send me the full dump of their kernel, rootfs and diags partitions of a PW3 with a copy of the partition map (like fdisk -l)?

thank you all
