I've really enjoyed Trudi Canavan's Black Magician and Traitor Spy series, but haven't read any of her Millennium's Rule series. (Although I have the first book, which I bought back when it was on sale, but it's still in my TBR pile.)

Now here is the second book in the series, Angel of Storms, on sale for $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US. I can't decide whether to try to read at least the first few chapters of the first book now, before buying the second, or just trust that I'll like this series since I really liked the other two. Decisions, decisions!

Too late. There are already multiple prequel sub-series. I have a soft spot for the Shannara books. It's been many years since I read any, but I always found them fairly enjoyable.

That'll be in the next Fifty Shades of Grey sequel: Five Hundred Types of Rope.
