@dotaki: You need to enable Private Messaging. This is in the "Edit Options" of the control panel. If this isn't there, it has to be added somehow. You can try posting in https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=319819 to ask it to be enabled, or contact a moderator.

Good day, I've come to request an image for my Kobo Mini, please.
Things went off plan during a factory reset and the Kobo sd card now appears to be empty. It says it had version 2.1.5 installed, I don't know if that matters, I'm guessing not. Thanks for your help!

But, I don't understand the state it is in. If you can get to a point where the device is telling you the firmware version, then it is running. And "card now appears to be empty" again makes me think it is running and for some reason not importing books. And how did thing "went off plan during a factory reset"?

Have you just tried doing the factory reset again? That is probably all that is needed. Or if it did the setup, then sign out of the account and do the setup again.

Nothing would happen, it appeared to try to start, the screen would flash as if trying to come on, but then nothing... factory reset didn't work (repeatedly)

The new image worked perfectly, and the mini is better than ever! Thanks for your help.

hi, i tried to reset my kobo mini, but now it is always written restoring on the screen for many days.
I think the content of the sd card has been damaged, is it possible to have the image to be written to the sd to make it work again?

Either use the Kobo desktop application, or manually install firmware 3.19.x or later. This is due to Kobo needing to remove older security protocols from their servers. The older devices cannot connect after a factory reset as the firmware does not support the newer protocols. The Kobo desktop still supports the devices. Or, doing a manual install of newer firmware before doing the setup works. I know 3.19.x has the support, and is what Kobo supports on the Mini.
