Perhaps.
"Civilization," however, is often required reading at the college level, so it may be why Amazon's editorial review of it begins with: "Civilization and Its Discontents may be Sigmund Freud's best-known work." (http://www.amazon.com/Civilization-I...6623965&sr=8-1) Anyway, Fledchen deserves a ton of credit and good mana for doing this. ![]() |

Just about every page has multiple footnotes, so it is taking me a while to integrate them into the text. I am still working on it, do not despair.

If by endnotes, you mean putting all of them at the end of the book, no, that is not what I plan on doing. There are several hundred of them, and it would be impractical to search for the correct note at the end of the book multiple times per page. I have instead chosen to put them in curly brackets {} at the point in the text where the number in superscript was located in the original text.
If there's a different, organized, linked way to do it, that will work across all the major formats, please let me know and I will revise accordingly. |

I prefer such "in place notes" instead of footnotes or endnotes too. But one disadvantage is that very long notes can waste a lot of space. If the user don't want to read the note, he has to overread a lot of "unnecessary" text to find the end of the note...

I'm looking forward to it, as well. Reading Freud was always one of those experiences in my training that would bring me to either an "Aha!" or blind screaming rage.
