I've read and enjoyed the first three in Joe Ide's Isaiah Quintabe (IQ) series. Per SYKM, the first title in the series won three "Best First" awards and was nominated for three more. Now the fourth, Hi Five, is $2.99 at Kindle and Kobo US.

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RGJRL2M
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07RGJRL2M
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/hi-five-1

Spoiler:
Quote:
One woman. Five personalities. Private investigator IQ is back to piece together a Newport Beach murder with an eyewitness who gives "people person" a whole new meaning.

Christiana is the daughter of the biggest arms dealer on the West Coast, Angus Byrne. She's also the sole witness and number one suspect in the murder of her boyfriend, found dead in her Newport Beach boutique. Isaiah Quintabe is coerced into taking the case to prove her innocence. If he can't, Angus will harm the brilliant PI's new girlfriend, ending her career.
The catch: Christiana has multiple personalities. Among them, a naïve, beautiful shopkeeper, an obnoxious drummer in a rock band, and a wanton seductress.

Isaiah's dilemma: no one personality saw the entire incident. To find out what really happened the night of the murder, Isaiah must piece together clues from each of the personalities . . . before the cops close in on him.

From the Queen by Carolyn Hart is one of the titles in the multi-author short story/novella Bibliomysteries "series". It features Hart's Annie Darling as the protagonist, and is free right now at Kindle US.

link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B010N0029U

Spoiler:
Quote:
The next story in the Bibliomysteries series, penned by MWA Grand Master Carolyn Hart.

Everyone dreams of stumbling upon a long-lost treasure in the attic or inheriting a fortune from some distant relative. But for Ellen Gallagher, the impoverished owner of a thrift shop in South Carolina, that dream comes true. She finds in her possession a first edition of Agatha Christie’s Poirot Investigates that has been signed by the author . . . and inscribed to the Queen of England. When the book disappears from her shop, Ellen must call on her friend Annie Darling, owner of the mystery bookstore Death on Demand, to track it down.

The Bibliomysteries are a series of short tales about deadly books, by top mystery authors.

All I Did Was Shoot My Man is the fourth in Walter Mosley's Leonid McGill series. Per SYKM it won the 2013 Edgar Award for Best Mystery. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle US, and, a little bit oddly for a major publisher book, has not dropped at Kobo US. (I've included the Kobo link for price check purposes...)

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B005ERIS12
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B005ERIS12
Kobo US (for price check): https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/all...shoot-my-man-1

Spoiler:
Quote:
Zella Grisham never denied shooting her boyfriend. That’s not why she did eight years of hard time on a sixteen-year sentence. It’s that the shooting inadvertently led to charges of grand theft. Talk about bad luck.

Leonid McGill has reasons to believe she’s innocent. But reopening the case is only serving to unsettle McGill’s private life even further—and expose a family secret that’s like a kick to the gut.

As the case unfolds, as the truth of what happened eight years ago becomes more damning and more complex than anyone dreamed, McGill and Zella realize that everyone is guilty of something, and that sometimes the sins of the past can be too damaging to ever forget. Or ever forgive.

I know nothing of this author or series but it's down to $2.99. The Janes (Alice Vega #2) by Louisa Luna.

Quote:
On the outskirts of San Diego, the bodies of two young women are discovered. They have no names, no IDs, and no family looking for them. Fearing the possibility of a human trafficking ring, the police and FBI reach out to Alice Vega, a private investigator known for finding the missing, for help in finding out who the Janes were—and finding the others who are missing.

Alice Vega is a powerful woman whose determination is matched only by her intellect, and, along with her partner Cap, she will stop at nothing to find the Janes before it is too late.
Louisa Luna is writing new classics of crime fiction, and her partnership of Vega and Cap is rightfully joining the pantheon of the most memorable in crime fiction.

Sorry for the Dead is the eighth and most recent (2019), for now, in Nicola Upson's series featuring Josephine Tey as the protagonist. It has dropped to $1.99 at Kindle and Kobo US, probably due to the new one coming out in October.

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NKR35CT
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07NKR35CT
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/sorry-for-the-dead

Spoiler:
Quote:
At once a compelling murder mystery and a moving exploration of love and grief, critically acclaimed author Nicola Upson's eighth Josephine Tey mystery is a force to be reckoned with.

In the summer of 1915, the sudden death of a young girl brings grief and notoriety to Charleston Farmhouse on the Sussex Downs.

Years later, Josephine Tey returns to the same house--now much changed--and remembers the two women with whom she once lodged as a young teacher during the Great War. As past and present collide, with murders decades apart, Josephine is forced to face the possibility that the scandal which threatened to destroy those women's lives hid a much darker secret.

Here's another title on sale in the Hilda Adams series by Mary Roberts Rinehart. Miss Pinkerton, apa The Double Alibi, is $1.99 at Kindle US as part of today's Daily Deal, matched at Kobo US, where it is coupon/VIPable. The blurb refers to it as the first in the series, but SYKM shows it as the third, so I'm guessing Open Road/Mysterious Press must not have rights to the first two. Just a guess..

Kindle US: https://www.amazon.com/Miss-Pinkerto...dp/B07PDPJQZ4/
Kindle US/Smile: https://smile.amazon.com/Miss-Pinker...dp/B07PDPJQZ4/
Kobo US: https://www.kobo.com/us/en/ebook/miss-pinkerton-1

Spoiler:
Quote:
A locked-room murder keeps a nurse-turned-sleuth on guard—and will “keep the reader . . . shivering and guessing” in this Golden Age mystery (The New York Times).

If the dissolute nephew of elderly Juliet Mitchell committed suicide, then why has the Homicide Squad enlisted the help of nurse Hilda Adams at the Mitchell mansion? Because Inspector Patton has his doubts about Herbert’s death—even though he died by gunshot in his locked bedroom. The services of the bureau’s indispensable sleuth, “Miss Pinkerton,” are twofold: to care for the traumatized and bedridden Juliet, and to find out who really pulled the trigger. But Hilda’s about to discover that the Mitchell family’s secrets are as dark as the shadows in the creaking old house, and that there’s a good reason why the servants seem gripped by an inexplicable fear. Now it’s up to Miss Pinkerton to solve the case, if she can survive the night.

Hailed by Carolyn Hart as a major influence, she salutes Rinehart as “the first author to write a humorous mystery with a female protagonist . . . a staple of crime fiction from then to now.” This witty whodunit by the Mystery Writers of America Special Award winner was the basis for the 1932 film starring Joan Blondell.

I found the second Hilda Adams title, Locked Doors, on Project Gutenberg:

http://gutenberg.org/ebooks/54273

They don’t seem to have the first, but since it was published in 1914 it also would be US public domain. It may be out there somewhere, but I didn’t do more than a cursory search. I don’t think either title is a full-length novel, though; perhaps long short stories or novellas?

The first two titles in the Geoffrey Chaucer series by Philip Gooden have dropped to $0.99/£0.99 each at Kindle US/UK, as Kindle Countdown deals, good for about 6 more days. The remaining two titles are not too badly priced as is at $3.99/£2.99, and there's also an omnibus of all four for $5.99/£4.99, if you want to get them all at once. These were originally published under the pen name Philippa Morgan, but I couldn't find much info on those editions - I'm guessing Gooden has gotten the rights back and is re-publishing them himself.

This is a lot of links, so if you want the non-Smile links, just replace the "smile" with "www" and there you go...
