Cradle by Arthur C. Clarke and Gentry Lee is on sale for $1.99 at Amazon US.

I love Clarke and wanted to read this one so badly. But I remember being disappointed when I read it. Guess I'm not much of a salesman for this one. Sorry guys.

The synopsis sure sounds promising, doesn't it?

Well it was cowritten with Gentry Lee, and the Rama sequels he wrote are close to the worse novels I've ever read so... I don't trust the synopsis personally.
