Troubleshooting Kindle Gaps at bottom of page

im getting blank gaps at the end of pages on the kindle books i upload. it pulls the paragraph to the next page if the whole paragraph doesnt fit. i tired messing with the orphans and widows within the css but no matter what i do these gaps are still there once its uploaded onto kdp. anyone know how to get around this?

If it is just a couple of lines then make sure you have set widows:1 and orphans:1. Enhanced Typesetting defaults to as value of 2.

If it is moving large numbers of lines make sure that you don't have page-break-inside:avoid set.
