One of the happiest days of my life was when my first wife called and told me she was getting re-married, so I could quit sending spousal support.

Another happy day was when I reminded my second wife that we had a pre-nup and that she had a nursing license, so she could support herself.

Dreams........there is a tax statement in the mail for you.

We're thinking if you can afford to build a lakehouse, you can afford to support us, your benevolent rulers.

Please sign the enclosed "transfer all money this person makes now and in the future to Republica Mobilita" form and have a nice day!

Lakehouse, ha. I don't even have my own spot in the alleyway, and I can't afford a cardboard lean-to most of the time. Send your tax goons somewhere else, unless they want this handful of mud I've been saving (and not mud from the chocolate lake, either).

Sorry, financial matters (outside of MR) have me a bit stressed right now, and I think it's impacting my sense of humor. Please, carry on....

Neko, Since I will not be living under benevolent rulers (and get to keep my money), I have decided to build a guest house that you may have as your own. No rent, no bills, no worries

You are, however, welcome to keep building your dream house by the lake.

We will start a payment plan for you.

PS........please ignore the 'no rulers' part. We have decided we know best for the population. Trust us.

I'm quite sure that bar code RWood has is working perfectly. We have scanned in and begun construction (the lake is yummy). Neko's guest house is almost complete and construction on the main house will begin soon

I'm quite sure that there was an "other dimension" exclusion clause when I signed in to MR

P.S. There is no postal service available here

You may claim all you like since your reality check bounced.

You have a runaway train wreck of a government that squandered all of the people's money on a few individuals at the top of the administration, tried to gain a favorable public relations perspective by offering the "head" of the government (in name only with no identified powers) to Queen Zelda so she could take the consequences for your looting of the treasury. (Have you no shame or did you try to sell that too?)

Then you drove away most of the population (while retaining their bank accounts) claiming them to be trolls, shums, or DRM. As a result you have very few workers remaining to pay the 98% tax rate (before the emergency tax surcharges) and only one new ebook (Managing Change: The Coins in the Couch) since you assumed power.

I did some research about the area you claim for Mobilita Republica:
Quote:

At that time, Mobilita Republica was mostly swampland, and the Romans were building a huge viaduct to convert Mobilita Republica into a sewage treatment plant for the entire Roman Empire when the empire declined and fell. After the Romans left, Mobilita Republica fell into an especially well deserved obscurity, achieving notice only when armies found it easier to march through rather than around. Much of Mobilita Republica's early history is vague. During the Great Diarrhea Plague of 1619-1643, brought on by a typographical error in Mobilita Republica's first printed cookbook, most of the early records were wiped out.

Yes, yes, we know all that.

We aren't stupid, we're just greedy and evil.

So, when can we expect payment?

Regardless of your suffering, loss of jobs, health care and homes, we must be paid our due!

So if I understand you right you have a mythical belief that you rule the world and want the rest of us to pay you money for you to squander along with a group of your hand picked cronies while you hide behind a cardboard cut-out of Queen Zelda of Pinwheel who you have set up to take the fall for all of your misdeeds.

I think it is time for you to check-in at the La Crosse Home for the Mentally Bewildered. Use the discount code "IAMNUTS" when registering. I am sure that the rest of the Mobilita Republica government will foot the remaining bill.
