Indeed there are.Mr Goyal likely speaks one of the largest English variants in the world, Indian English - the flavour of English which gifted the wonderfully useful "prepone" to the family of world Englishes.

I hate to burst your bubble but quite a few older computer models were not able to be upgraded to Windows 10. Some of the issues are due to manufacturers not supplying drivers, some due to hardware that Windows 10 doesn't support. Then you have the devices where the Windows 7/8 install was 32 bit and Windows 10 only supports the CPU in 64 bit mode which precludes an inplace upgrade.

I'm thinking Windows 8 is need be. As for Windows 10, there is a 32-bit version.

Now I change the 4 by 8 RAM and give Win 10 a try again.

Laptops /Pads can be a PAIN. No driver updates, no ability to just 'swap out' graphics... (some of this is because the maker got out of the (really reliable, too) Laptop game )

Ummm.... Jon, did you read the words "Windows 7/8 install was 32 bit and Windows 10 only supports the CPU in 64 bit mode"? Check Intel's Does My Intel® Processor Support Microsoft Windows® 10? page for example.

While not common, I've run into 6 or 7 devices where the OEM installed Windows 7/8/8.1 x86 leaving no upgrade path to Windows 10 other than a clean install.

Microsoft's VLSC still offers Windows 10 x86 builds for those who are participating in their volume licensing programs.

As for what I posted, the issue is that the Windows 10 x86 installer will not upgrade or install on those processors since they are not supported.

Some suggestions:
1. Hightlights panel: Move the Edit, Delete and Export buttons under the notes shown when selecting a highlights. It would also be good to have a header for the notes to make it more understandable.
2. Add possibility to change how much text is selected for a hightlight by dragging the handles when a highlight is selected.

My plugin FFF calls the Reading List plugin to update lists as part of downloading or updating a book. This has been working fine for years.

I've seen the following error twice now, albeit a couple weeks apart. My understanding was that using Calibre's 'proceed' dialog would prevent such race conditions.
