How do you back up all your prefrences and settings when KOReader is insalled on Android?

And of course: if you install from scracth, how do you restore said preferences? Awaiting your kind reply, [INCANUS] - Follow me on itch.io El Escritorio - Spanish fiction reviews and interactive fiction Blog Last edited by Incanus; 08-24-2020 at 01:32 PM. Reason: replacing signature |

Everything lives in /koreader folder, in your primary storage partition. By default that means the internal storage of the device.

Book thingies are kept in a sidecar folder, in the same directory of the book. So, between android devices: 1. copy the koreader folder to the new device 2. copy the book files and their sidecar folder |

If I merely delete and old installation of KOReader and make a new installation (from scratch: the device, a Boyue Likebook Mars running Android 8.1, is loth to allow me to manually update, for whatever reason) on the same device without touching the ebook files, do I need to complete step #2? I think not but I'd rather be sure than sorry. Gratefully, |

*But* if you're going to upgrade the firmware a backup is a good thing. Specially on Likebooks
